The word “impossible” derives from the fact the access to the beach is unique and it’s quite challenging to get through. The beach is situated, indeed, below a white stone hill with steep cliff climbing down on the stunning panorama of the Indian Ocean. Blessed by its dramatic cliffs and sheer drops, from this corner of heaven you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunsets.
How to Get There: It is located in the village of Pecatu, in Bali– Indonesia. This beach is situated on the white stone hill, only 30 minutes away from Denpasar Airport or 5 minutes to the mystical Uluwatu Temple, one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali, majestically perched on a steep cliff.
Where to Stay: After a day of surfing, canoeing, snorkeling or climbing Uluwatu cliffs, the best spot to enjoy a peaceful and rare sunset is to get a private bungalow at Rock’n Reef
Must Do: Enjoying the sunset while getting a massage or drinking a fresh squeezed mango juice!
Tips and Warnings: Best period for surfing in this area is the dry season. During this season, the wind flows from the southeast to the west and creates the big and powerful wave ideal for surfing activities. Considering the place features, a beautiful rocky beach with gigantic waves, that corner of wild paradise is suitable for those who have been pro-surfers level already.
Additional Planning Info: from south east of Bali don’t miss the chance to plan also a trip to the amazing Gili Islands or to the wild Lombok by fast boat . Fast boat rides run each day from Serangan (South Bali) to Gili Trawangan or to north Lombok, getting there in approximately two hours.
